A digital exhibition cannot reproduce every quality of standing before an original. It can offer something particular: a route between close looking, contextual writing, and a time-based response. The point is not to hide the distance between those forms, but to make their differences worth exploring.

Film is our first doorway, not the boundary of the idea. A work need not move to hold attention. A viewer need not buy, register, or offer a public reaction for an encounter to matter.

MAIKE begins with original editorial writing, not an announced exhibition or screening program. We are not an open-upload service. Future exhibitions depend on thoughtful collaboration, accurate attribution, appropriate permissions, and review of the complete experience.
