An art-first exhibition space
Art you
can enter.
Wherever you are.
Begin with an artwork. Find a way into its world through looking, reading, sound, and moving image. Then return to the work, and the person who made it.
Explore exhibitionsEvery encounter starts with the work.
An exhibition is more than a place to press play. It brings an artwork, its context, and a particular way of looking into relation, without making them interchangeable.
The cinemaTime to look. Room to listen.
Moving image changes the pace of an encounter. A frame holds, a sound enters, a detail becomes a destination. The cinema is one way into an exhibition, not a separate world of clips.
Original MAIKE editorial writingWays of being with art.
Three essays, three points of entry: how we give attention, what an interpretation changes, and what remains distinct when an encounter becomes an interest in owning a work.
A doorway, not a replacement
A film can give a detail time to unfold. A voice can suggest a path through an image. Neither contains everything an artwork can be. MAIKE keeps the original at the center of the encounter, with room to question the interpretation around it.
We are building a curated exhibition space, not an open-upload platform. Each exhibition should offer a considered relationship between work, maker, and viewer. Watching should be simple; discovering what sits behind the screen should be just as natural.

MAIKE opens with original editorial writing about attention, interpretation, and collecting. No public screenings or artwork offers are announced here. Read without an account, follow a question, and take your time. Connection to a creator should grow from the encounter, not stand between you and it.
